You use candy gold in the shop to help you pay for variety mining tools available in the game, ants are very tricky they will try and prevent you taking there candy even by placing big rocks in your path of access to the candy. For example you can buy rock explosive when on offer in the shop, this tool allows players to blow up rocks during mining for candy in the nest, you will use this tool when your claw has fetched a rock from the nest.
